I know yoga to be a feeling of calm in the mind and an ease through the body. The goal of my practice is to continuously arrive in that peaceful state. Yoga has taught me the value of self-care through both thought and action. I've completed over 300 hours of teacher training including studying Hatha Yoga through Sivananda in Kerala, India and Restorative Yoga with Pat Harada Linfoot and Scott Davis through Octopus Garden in Toronto. I have completed further trainings with Sarah Powers, Eion Finn, Elle Scott, and Nicky Poole that have influenced and enhanced my teaching. I have experience in many styles of yoga but I am known for my beautifully balanced classes, that combine strengthening, stretching and breathing. Outside of yoga, I exercise my creativity through photography and most joyously, experimenting in the kitchen. I believe that yoga is for everyone and encourages students to practice mindfulness each day.
